  • Central Nervous System (CNS): The brain and spinal cord form the CNS, which controls most of the body’s functions. The brain processes information, sends commands, and interprets sensory input.
  • Peripheral Nervous System (PNS): Nerves extending from the brain and spinal cord to the rest of the body (muscles, skin, organs) make up the PNS. It includes:
    • Sensory nerves that carry information from the body to the brain (e.g., pain, temperature).
    • Motor nerves that transmit commands from the brain to muscles, enabling movement.

Endocrine System
